Year Four

The children in Year 4 made these lovely Christmas decorations to decorate our Forest School area.

Forest School – 4W enjoyed an afternoon at Forest School creating land art using resources found in the natural environment.

This gave them an understanding of how Roman Mosaics were created.

The end result was amazing!

4K visited the Roman Alcester Heritage Centre recently.

They enjoyed learning what the Roman children and soldiers wore by dressing up.

“ We wore body armour called segmentado. It was quite heavy to wear.” and they designed their own Samian Ware pottery. They explained :“It was the most expensive pottery in the Roman times.”

The children in 4K made this fabulous poppy during their Forest School session to mark Remembrance Day
